There is a boat factory owned by an australian close to the BI Mandaue, We went there and they gave my friend a price for a boat with a new engine. I am sure he can get them in cebu. You can also go to the Cebu yacht club and check out the items for sale posted on their items for sale board, in their bar / restaurant _________________ Cebu! It's What YOU make of it ! |

I dont know how much but this link takes you to als marine and they have outboards offered. A phone call or email should get you the info you need. Kingsley originally pushed the URL to me.

I asked once in Ranola Motor Service in down town. They dont have any for display but could get some. Dont remember the prices or anything though. Found them rather expensive compared to inboard engines though. _________________ Less good than they say for the sons of men

When in Cebu have a look around Carbon. Seaman’s Enterprise gave us a good price on a Briggs & Stratton engine after some bargaining.
They also have outboard engines but they don’t seem to be popular with the locals due to the high fuel consumption. Also finding a decent mechanic experienced with outboards may be a problem. _________________ _____________________
