Hi scuba,
I own two razrs, a V3 Black edition and a brand new V3x, which I both bought in Europe through Ebay. No contract, therefore no simlock. They both work perfectly in Cebu (smart).
I don't know about US phones, but there shouldn't be any problem. If there is a simlock or even a netlock, the boys in the phone shops here in Cebu can fix that in no time (Php 500).

I am about to start looking, but in th e mean time, does anyone know where to find the software needed for this particular phone? I have a friend who tells me that he needs the software for it. I'm not sure if the Razor comes with it upon purchase, or not. I'm strictly a Nokia guy, myself and they always come with the necessary software.

Mate it come with it . its called mobile phone tools. no version for a mac yet. you can great bit of software.

Just bought a Motorola SLVR for my wife and what a nice phone that is for just under P7t. Anyway If you have the bandwidth, I can put the s/w up on a web page. PM me if you want to grab it that way.
