Hi.
This is my first post here and while not directly connected to Cebu I would appreciate some advice. I have a Philippine g/f who lives in Mangogoy and i want to send her some money from california, I have sent via mail but i am worrried that some day it may go astray. I spoke to Western Union and they were going to charge $16 for sending $50. Are there cheaper methods? _________________ Martin |

| On the BB index, click the section on Sending Money, and you'll read some interesting discussions, re: XOOM, PNB, etc. |

I never use western union because they ask to much.
I alway`s use TMT TRAVELEX that safe`s a lot of money.
For $ 50 they ask 5 dollar and for $ 150 they will ask 10 dollar.
Almost every bank in Cebu is working with them and after the first time you will get a 5% discount on the paying fee.
Just try it ones.
Good luck |
